I remember the staff as being A lot of fun and friendly at the time. I think children learn to fast as it is already. I enjoyed the craziness of this place, I think.I wouldn't ever take my children here to stay the night. Shoes and caps hanging from the wooden beams above you and more too. I never forgot sitting down to a meal and looking around me at the things that people had left behind as their sovieniers of their crazy life here back in the 1970's to the 1980"s. I enjoyed the restaurant and bar part downstairs. But I quickly forgot this hotel and it's goings on here. I can't comment on my surroundings here because of its wildness and sinful doings. The neighborhood was fun for me at the time in my life. I found this one star hotel to be a bit more than I could deal with. This was my first ever hotel in Amsterdam in 1987 when I was traveling for my work throughout Europe driving for this man.
